TV series based on the Alex Cross novels by James Patterson
Alex Cross uses forensic psychology to analyze the minds of killers, delving into the psyche of his victims to identify the killers and bring them to justice. I just watched all eight episodes of Cross and I have to say I absolutely loved it
Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and then in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which flopped at the box office and led to Lionsgate scrapping the planned sequel Double Cross. I have been waiting for this since I first heard about it, so I had pretty high expectations.

Well, this show not only met those expectations, it exceeded them in every way. There was a movie about Alex Cross in 2012 starring Tyler Perry that was just awful.
That movie was garbage, this show is fantastic
Please don’t let that put you off watching this one, because they are different in every way. Another great adaptation for Amazon Prime, they have done an amazing job with TV series adaptations (Reacher, Fallout, The Lord of the Rings, Jack Ryan, The Boys, Bosch, The Wheel of Time, Daisy Jones and the Six, Good Omens, etc., etc.).

Amazon has so much confidence in this show that they renewed it for another season before the first episode even aired.
