Silent.Hill.2.Directors.Cut.PC.Game(djDEVASTATEâ„¢) The first Silent Hill release for PC, Konami Director’s Cut takes the winning formula of Silent Hill 2 for PlayStation 2 and combines it with the much-lauded extras found in the Xbox version of Inner Fears. Silent Hill 2 was once a sanctuary for protagonist James, but it’s not what it used to be, as players of the original will attest. There are lots of stained mattresses, dirty piles of old medical supplies, and general disarray.
Konami is not messing with this game
Comedy is strictly prohibited, and everything included in the game is disturbing in one way or another. There is a real sense of claustrophobia throughout the game, complete with darkness and heavy, heavy fog. New to the Director’s Cut are a number of new graphical assets.
But more importantly, there’s a whole new chapter in the experience to play with a new female character
Taking advantage of the PC’s graphics card and processing power, Silent Hill 2: Director’s Cut features enhanced visuals and some gorgeous lighting that further exaggerates the game’s foreboding mood. There’s definitely a lot of extra stuff to do and it’s worth it even if you already have the PS2 version. Starting a new game from scratch, your initial encounters with members of the screwed-up dimension aren’t too scary, and are usually easy to dispose of with nothing more than a claw stick or a small gun.

Among these strange people are headless nurses and dismembered torsos that drag through the dense fog. The essence of the game is that the player solves puzzles, walks up and down corridors, collects and combines items and just feels disturbed… Like its predecessor, the Director’s Cut is a beautifully put together game.
Extract the archive to any directory you want using Winrar or 7zip etc
